It’s been very cold and rainy in Melbourne for the past couple of days. It’s hard to believe that the season is spring turning summer…it feels more like turning winter in my opinion. But I don’t mind rain as long as I’m under shelter where I get to paint. My favorite activity of the day. I have been enjoying exploring watercolors recently, enjoying the spontaneous effects that water and paints create.
The circular design in the background is an exercise I learnt called Emily Green exercise. It’s been fun and really addictive. I hope you like them.
I’ve also submitted this to Illustration Friday as it marries with the week’s topic ‘energy’ 🙂

Here’s a coloured version of the drawing I did a while ago. Since the drawing seem to fall under this week’s topic, ‘creature’ at Illustration Friday, I’ve decided to give it a go in painting them! It took longer than I had expected to colour them but I’m quite pleased with the outcome.
I hope you enjoy 🙂

The three besties had a blast at their friends’ wedding. They loved the photobooth which captured the moment of their fun time. The photo has been developed to be shared with everyone. x
Revising my previous polar bear illustration ‘Sound’ to this week’s topic ‘underwater’ at Illustration Friday. Hope you like it. x
